Emotional Tilt-Shift Photograph
Category: Personal, TravelAlright so I don’t have a tilt-shift lens but I am thinking of getting one soon. Right now I am looking at the TS 45mm 2.8 for Canon as an option. I feel like its just a fad that will be in for a bit then out the next day. But I have seen some really cool stuff done with it so it might be worth the investment. This photograph was taken on the same trip in the Dominican Republic. I just decided to put a little more of an artistic touch to it tonight and thought I would share.
I ended up showing both versions, with and without the lens blur.

I think tilt-shift is a cool technique, but agree that it might fall into the “fad” category similar to HDR. They’re both really cool but to much of a good thing is not always the best.
