Florida Keys Wedding Photography Preview
Category: WeddingsHere is a quick preview of a wedding I shot a few weeks ago at the Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, Florida Keys. This was the ideal place to get married and shoot, if your a Florida wedding photographer. I love vintage style photography, so I have been playing around with this new style including bokeh texture. I was heavily inspired by the work of Tomasz Opasinski. Once I put the watermark on this shot it turned it into a vintage movie poster. Two things I can take away from this wedding – Joe & Nicole were the kindest people and they had the world’s largest shrimp at their reception.

I love bokeh style effects! Where is a good place to learn more about “how” to do it?!
I have not really found any tutorial websites that show you how to embed bokeh style effects into photography. I have however found several places that show you how to utilize textures in your photography. Check out this blog – http://www.gettotallyrad.com/blog/
From there I think you can find several other avenues for good tutorials and techniques to get a style you like. Hope that helps.
