My First Wedding With Kevin and Stephanie
Category: WeddingsAlright well since this blog is brand new and all my photos are outdated… I am going to take us back to 2007, when I shot my very first wedding for a friend. Now, at the time I was not even the lead photographer, I just happened to bring my digital SLR and to get some extra shots for my friends. Believe it or not but I was actually a groomsman in this wedding. This was right when I started to really get into photography and enjoy shooting people. At the time I was using a Nikon D40 which really seemed to do the job just fine. Right now I have moved on to the greater world with a 5D Mark II. Anyways just wanted to share a few photos that were taken to give you an idea of how it all started.

Hard to believe this was your very first wedding shoot. It’s in the blood to be that talented so early in the game. Great job!!
wow… it’s kind of annoying that this is “how it all started” and it looks like you are a veteran of taking professional photos! lol you are so talented jon!! hmm… i wish i would have known you were into this sooner… i know you would have wanted to come to northern MI to shoot a wedding!!
Well after some cropping and photoshop work it really changes things. Yeah I would have loved to come all the way up there. haha
