58ten Children’s Home + Safari Adventure in Kenya, Africa
I just got back from an amazing trip to Kenya, Africa with 58ten to photograph their children’s home and document our adventures.
Poverty, poor healthcare, and the AIDS epidemic have orphaned nearly 2 million children in Kenya. 58ten is bringing about amazing change in orphans’ lives by going beyond simply sponsoring a child into sharing ownership of gospel-proclaiming orphanages with other followers of Jesus.
“If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.” – Isaiah 58:10
We tried to make the portraits of all the children with a little more personality. We found a clean white wall with nice natural lighting. It was tough to get them to crack a smile but when they did it was beautiful.
