One thing that we find sets the tone for a fun and celebratory wedding is having a specialty cocktail or champagne passed to guests upon arrival to the ceremony. This instantly puts guests at ease and foreshadows a fun evening ahead.
Q: WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE A CEREMONY AT THE BREAKERS?
We always like to plan the ceremony around sunset if possible. For us, there is nothing like a ceremony during the “golden hour” when the sun is setting and everyone looks their best. For Jewish ceremonies that must occur after sundown, it is important to ensure that we have the right lighting that highlights the ceremony but is flattering to the couple and still complementary to all the guests.
Q: SHOULD WE SEE EACH OTHER BEFORE THE WEDDING?
As wedding and event planners, we believe that unnecessary stress should always be avoided especially prior to the wedding ceremony. A wedding is a celebration of love and should be fun and carefree. It shouldn’t be riddled with stress and anxiety. We always find that a “First Look” is a great way of capturing the surprise and emotion of the couple seeing each other made up and in their wedding look for the first time. We also find that this “breaks the ice” and alleviates the stress allowing the couple to enjoy themselves for the ceremony and events to follow. We do recommend that this is a private moment without friends and family so that the couple feels free to be themselves.
Q: WHAT STANDS OUT THE MOST FROM HAVING A WEDDING AT THE BREAKERS?
The Breakers is a world-class luxury venue. It is one of the finest hotels in the world. We find that both the food and service at the Breakers is unparalleled! Even the way they present food to guests is extraordinary. The wedding cakes that their pastry chef designs and bakes will leave you speechless! There is nothing like the level of service you and your guests will receive from the entire staff. The staff will bend over backward to ensure each and every guest experiences a caring valet that tends to their every need.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BALLROOM?
This is a difficult question as each one is so different and unique. And by the way, not all of the wedding space options are “ballrooms.” We love all of them for different reasons. Each one of our clients are different and it is our mission to provide each client with a unique and customized experience. We put a lot of energy into getting to know each one of our clients on a deeper level so that we can learn about what they truly want out of their wedding. As planners, we strive to bring out the personality of our clients and always feature personal and intimate elements that the couple’s friends and family will find meaningful.

OCEAN LAWN
Your fairytale beachside ceremony is perfectly suited for the Ocean Lawn. This magical outdoor spot can hold from 100 to 500 guests, and is perfect for a ceremony or a wedding brunch.
THE CIRCLE
This opulent room is ready to make the happy couple feel like royalty! If you have your Breakers wedding in The Circle, you’ll be sitting under a 30-foot tall dome, graced by an elegant chandelier over the dance floor. This room can handle your fairytale reception with up to 200 guests.
GOLD ROOM
If you love the grandeur and history of the Breakers, you’ll fall in love with the Gold Room. Glittering on all sides, this intimate room features hand-carved cherubs looking at you from above, as well as an elegant fireplace and mantel. It can fit 250 guests for a rich ceremony, or 85 for a more intimate reception.
MEDITERRANEAN BALLROOM
A ballroom fit for a European palace, the Mediterranean Ballroom features floor to ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard below, as well as elegant frescos on the ceiling accented by intricate chandeliers. This room can accommodate 250 guests.
FRONT LAWN
Another one of the Breakers’ beautiful outdoor spaces, the Front Lawn offers a paradisiac garden area rivaling Eden itself. With room for up to 300 guests, this is a beautiful setting for a cocktail hour or that luxurious outdoor ceremony.
