Key West Wedding Photographer

Key West is one of the best wedding destination locations in the US. Especially in the Winter time. Since most venues in the Florida Keys are outdoors, having cool weather with sunshine is pretty much the best!

Key West has everything you can imagine all in one tiny location and travel around the island is super easy for guests. There are plenty of old historic buildings with loads of character. Perfect for planning any rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony or reception. Before you get going on the planning though get in touch with Simply You Weddings. Abby + Kyle had such an amazing event this winter. From the night before at the Ernest Hemingway House for their rehearsal dinner to the wedding at Fort Zachary Taylor the next day. It was Epic! And I don’t normally use that word. Seriously, you guys created a dream wedding day for us to capture. We love having the freedom to create memories without any awkward cheesy poses. Thanks for being easy going and allowing us to document the biggest day of your life. You guys are such sweet people and we wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Now onto the wedding day at Fort Zachary in Key West.

First off… I need to find this house again because it was the perfect place for bridesmaids to get ready at. Nothing is better than white walls and large windows. Everyone could not stop talking about how awesome it was.

All the floral graphics in their wedding invitations were hand painted by a family member. How sick is that?!

Love how high these walls went in the bridal suite. Such good natural lighting to work with in this room. And that yellow chair was such a perfect touch.

Say hello to… “The most well behaved dog” I have ever worked with!

This location is a dream for any Key West wedding photographer. The sunsets are amazing out here. Their ceremony took place on the roof top of the Historic Fort Zachary Taylor. The timing for ceremony lighting could not have been any better. So thankful how this wedding day timeline worked out.

Okay stop Abby!!! Clear chairs, exposed brick and cannons!!! Common how cool is that?!
